History Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is one of the eight franchise teams that participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Here is a brief history of KKR: KKR was founded in 2008 as one of the original eight teams in the IPL. Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, actress Juhi Chawla, and her spouse Jay Mehta jointly own the team. The team's official colors are purple and gold, and their logo features a knight riding a horse.
